Excellent indoor and outdoor facilities

The playgroup has been flourishing on its existing site for over thirty years. 

In the Autumn of 2007, our old “hut” was replaced with brand new, brick building.  It was purpose designed with the needs of pre-schoolers in mind.  

We strive to make both our indoor and outdoor areas truly 'Enabling Environments' where children can access many of their own resources – take manageable risks – and be able to extend their play with a range of open ended activities both man made and natural. 

Excellent indoor facilities

Our facilities include: 

• A small kitchen to facilitate some cooking activities
• A dressing-up stand with a large variety of outfits to suit almost any occasion
• A “help yourself” arts and crafts trolley which the children are encouraged (under supervision) to take whatever materials they like to be creative!
• Computers
• A large train table
• A wide selection of books
• Little toilets and wash basins

Our older children are given a book bag with our logo on it.  This is used to borrow books from our library so they may be shared with their family.

We have an excellent outdoor area with plenty of space for energetic little people to run around and have fun.
